Darrel Lackey, Street Department Employee, was selected as the Employee of the Month for March. Luis Rios, Street Depart-ment Supervisor, and Mayor Kenneth Jordan presented Darrel with a plaque with his name on it and a gift certificate to a local restaurant.

Howard Payne University’s Mock Trial team was honored at the American Mock Trial Regional Competition, receiving the Spirit of AMTA Award as the team that best exemplifies the ideals of the American Mock Trial Association – civility, justice and fair play.
