San Saba County Youth Fair Art Results

The San Saba County Youth Fair was held January 5th - 7th, in the San Saba Civic Center . The judges were provided by McKinley Armstrong (County Extension Agent/Family and Community Health, Texas A&M Agrilife Extension/San Saba County). Around 100 students competed.

Due to September 11th, 2001, and the many requests of ‘what can we do?’ on January 23, 2002, San Saba County and (then) Scott & White brought the FIRST blood drive to San Saba. It began in honor of Annette Hooten who was the San Saba ISD Registrar at the time and was a leukemia patient.
