The breeze was cool, almost constant. You could hear the water from the waterfall and the waterspout as well as the quacking of the ducks in the background. The community members just kept coming. They were gathering together to pray for rain. Desperately needed rain.

Actually, it was dancing, shopping, and having fun! Saturday Nights in San Saba was a huge success! Dee George from The Daily Mix said it was awesome! You usually see lots of cars in the area, but Saturday night, there were people walking. People were dancing.

The right to farm and ranch in Texas is set as Proposition 1 on the November 7 General Election ballot. The proposition is supported by Texas Farm Bureau (TFB). “It’s great to have a proposition number for the right to farm and ranch constitutional amendment.

Mason - San Saba July 3, 2023 Receipts totaled 2,557 head. The market continued very active this week with the stocker steers and heifers selling steady. Feeder steers sold $3-$4 higher with 94 steers 676 lbs at $258.00 ($ 1744.08).

The year is already in full swing here at Cherokee ISD. Last week, we had Meet the Teacher and Meet the Indians. Our junior high and high school cheerleaders performed as well as our little Indian cheerleaders that attended cheer camp.
