This weekend was like a ghost town. Even church attendance was low. Many huge parking lots around town sat empty. The town was ready. San Saba was sprinkled with Porta Potties everywhere. The weather forecast was not the best news to small towns planning on big crowds.

San Saba Elementary 2024 PreK-4 Easter Party

Mrs. Cooper's PreK-4 class had an Easter Party last Thursday, March 28, 2024, in the afternoon. The party took place at the green grassy area in front of San Saba Elementary School under the oak trees right outside the library. The kids started out with an Easter egg hunt.

We were busy feeding the sheep, and I did not notice when he walked up. He stayed with the other baby lambs while their mothers were eating. Maybe it was the pure snow white color or maybe his size because he was a couple of inches taller than the other lambs.
