The 88th home opener at Rogan Field will see the Armadillos take on the Eagles from Junction this Friday evening. San Saba will be starting a fourgame home series that will take them through the preseason and into district play. Last week, the Eagles (0-1) lost to Deleon 4019. San Saba (1-0) is coming off a 40-3 Win over the Florence Buffaloes. This will be the 28th time the two teams have played each other, the first game going back to 1920 (San Saba won 12-6 in Brady). The 28th game passes Fredericksburg and will be the 11th most played opponent for the Dillos. And now for some more useless (but always good to know) facts about the series.
