Cherokee VFD Quilt Drawing Winner

The Cherokee Volunteer Fire Department's Ladies Quilt Guild presented the colorful Star quilt to Jeff Kuykendall representing Arrowhead Bank Llano. The drawing was held at the annual fundraiser fish fry September 27. Aileen Roberts represented the ladies’ quilting heritage group.

Mason & San Saba September 25, 2025Receipts totaled 2,462 head. The market continued to be active this week with good demand. The stocker steers were steady except the lighter ones were $4$5 higher with 4 steers 609 lbs at $397.50 ($2420.78). The stocker heifers were $4-$8 higher.

September 11,2025Our speaker was Craig Hardy, Governor for Rotary District 5840.Craig reviewed with the club the three-year preparation that Rotary requires for candidates to hold the office. Thus said, he approaches the position with both humility and honor.

Meet on the second Saturday of the month at 7:00 a.m. under the Tabernacle in Richland Springs.Richland Springs Preservation Society meetings will be held the 3rd Tuesday (Note Day Change from Monday) of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Richland Springs Community Center.
