San Saba Armadillo Band

The band competed at the Lost Pines Marching Festival on Saturday, October 8th. The band competed against nine class 2A bands and 11 4A-6A bands. The top 10 bands made finals, so going into the contest we knew it would be tough to make it since we were competing against much larger schools.

NATIONAL FIRE PREVENTION WEEK

Last week, San Saba Elementary School celebrated National Fire Prevention Week with a great presentation from three volunteer firefighters. All students, PreK-3 through 4th grade enjoyed a fun learning experience about fire safety, some important tools that are used, and the importance of 'Stop!
