Pet of the Week

Manny is the pet of the week, and boy did he arrive in style - as a lost stray cat at Friends of Animals. This big ol' softie is a gentle giant, possibly a Maine coon mix, and we just can't get enough of him.

The Richland Springs Report

Praise the Lord, we didn’t get the big storms that flooded or destroyed areas, but we still need more rain. I had to drag out my coat again because that wind, damp, and lower temperatures were too nasty to go outside in short sleeves. Another month or two and we’ll be wishing for a little relief.

Part ThreeBefore leaving for our confrontation with the Japanese, the men in my regiment were given the opportunity to spend our last day in Maui doing as we pleased. We heard the girls were even prettier near Wailea, so we figured we’d spend some time showing off our newly acquired surfing skills.

Seniors honored at St. Luke’s

St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 601 W Dry St. San Saba, honored three seniors from San Saba High School on Sunday, April 12th. Chassidy Gonzales, Paige Lewis, and Daila DeWitt were each given a personalized bible, and a nice BBQ lunch was served to visiting friends and family.
