Receipts totaled 1,527 head. The market continued to be very active with good demand. The stocker steers sold steady to $3 higher with 8 steers 546 lbs at $501.00 ($2735.46) and 3 steers 637 lbs at $445.00 ($2834.65). The stocker heifers sold $5-$7 higher with 4 heifers at 519 lbs at $490.00 ($2543.

42 Tournament raises $1,500 for Meals on Wheels

The National 42 Players Association held a fundraiser at Casa Del Charro Mexican Grill & Bar in San Saba, Texas, on March 27th. The purpose of the event was to raise money for the local Meals on Wheels.There were 18 teams that participated in the tournament.
The First Baptist Church had a grand turnout for the Easter egg hunt on Sunday. The park was wet so the eggs were put around the church. It was like a colorful wonderland of eggs when the kids walked out of church. Everyone went home with baskets full of eggs.
