Down Memory Lane

110 Years Ago October 15, 1914Hal Holcomb was here from the Richland Springs country with a mixed load of potatoes and apples which he readily sold. The apples were of the Ben Davis variety and were very fine. They were of his own raising and show that San Saba County can’t be beat for fruit.

SSGC’s October meeting features landscaping your ideal yard

The San Saba Garden Club (SSGC) met on October 1st at 2:00 p.m. in the historic clubhouse at Mill Pond Park. The event was well attended, with 24 members present and two guests, Rhonda Waidmann and her mother, Margo Kight, joining the meeting.
