Gold Nuggets of San Saba - that’s right, Pecans! - spilled onto State Highway 16 just north of downtown on Tuesday, December 3rd, around lunch time. Folks jumped in to clean it up. Around 12:15 p.m., the San Saba Volunteer Fire Department was called in to wash off the street.

Napoli's Italian Grill in San Saba, Texas, cooked 30 Turkeys and gave out right at 180 plates on Thanksgiving day.They had volunteers from the Fathers House and the community. There were enough desserts donated that every plate received a huge slice of pie and an apple as well.
On Tuesday, November 26th, these City employees braved the cold weather to set up the nativity scene that was graciously donated by Tex-Air to San Saba County.
