Alice in Wonder Land

I am avoiding eating potatoes for health reasons, so I bought 'Veggie Shells & Cheese: brown rice, quinoa and cauliflower pasta in a creamy cheddar cheese sauce.' When I was putting the cooked product on my plate, I dropped some on the floor, and right away Ellie ate it. And she doesn't like cauliflower. Alright! Great way to test a new food!

The condo lunch bunch ate at the Longhorn Steak House last week with 15 attending. I enjoy these lunches to get to know my neighbors, and I even rode with Katha Mercer and did not get lost.

I am going to visit Sam Purtee tomorrow. He is at home near Frazeysburg, around one half hour from where I live, with Hospice Care. Sam was ordained at the Assembly of God Church in San Saba for Abundant Life Ministries around eight to 10 years ago. Well, Brice and Margie Wagner would know what year that was. Sam's wife, Linda, died in February of 2013. They helped us move from Ohio to Texas, bought an RV and came to Texas once or twice a year. Samuel was one of the workers building a large Bible Training School in San Fernando, Mexico, that my husband, Larry, engineered.

When I was walking Ellie this evening, the sun was behind us, just before sunset, shining on the hardwood trees that have such splendid color this time of year. On Sundays during this time, people ride around, especially in the country, just to see their splendor. Beautiful or Beauty full!

For I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from His love. Death can't, and life can't. The angels won't, and all the powers of hell itself cannot keep God's love away. Our fears for today, our worries about tomorrow, or where we are---high above the sky, or in the deepest ocean---nothing will ever be able to separate us from the love of God demonstrated by our Lord Jesus Christ when He died for us.
