I have wonderful memories of the Community Thanksgiving Meal in San Saba. It was cancelled because of the Covid pandemic in 2020. Because of circumstances beyond human control, it is gone but not forgotten how the entire community made it a free meal with donations appreciated.

The fall season is different up north here in Zanesville, Ohio, than it is in San Saba, Texas. The trees are colorful, and the weather, pleasant. There are hay rides, pumpkin contests, corn mazes, apple cider, pumpkin decorations, and pumpkin pie, cake and cookies.
