We are enjoying wonderful weather right now. To think, I could be in Canada and wearing a warm jacket instead of short sleeves and shorts. My grandniece went hunting last week for a moose calf.

What one act of kindness can do

It was hard for her to share about her childhood. Her father was an alcoholic and a violent man. He came home drunk most nights and would beat up his children and wife. They lived in a little shack outside of town, and her clothes were a few worn out hand me down dresses.

I’ve put another busy week behind me and fully intend to take it easy for a few weeks. I’m working on a small quilt, but there is no rush to finish. We’re progressing well in school, so there is time for a few fun experiments and labs.
