Enjoy the fresh-from-the-garden flavor of homegrown tomatoes. Grow one or more in a container, a dedicated vegetable garden or plant them with flowers in garden beds. Purchase transplants from a local garden center if not starting plants from seed at home.

Recapping last week, we began investigating the early oral tradition (kerygma) that Paul captured on papyrus in his first letter to the Corinthian church, chapter 15, verses 3-7. We know these particular verses (Credo) of Paul contain several tell-tale signs that oral tradition is being relayed.

Fake Fines, Real Fraud

Don’t tap that link! Fraudsters are flooding phones with fake violation notices designed to scare and steal. Drivers across Texas have reported receiving alarming messages that falsely claim to be from the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) or similarly named agencies.

Pierian Club Meeting

On Thursday, March 12, the Pierian Study Club met for our monthly meeting. It was a beautiful afternoon, and there was a large group that gathered at the San Saba Hotel. We were greeted by the hostesses: Audrey Smith, Catherine Hanrahan, MarjeanAlexander, and Margaret Henslee.

Spring break at Cherokee Home for Children was filled with fun, adventure, and meaningful moments for our kids. Thanks to the thoughtful planning of our house parents, each cottage enjoyed a variety of special activities tailored just for them.

So much going on

Looking at what is going on in the world today; we have no idea if we are in a world war before the sun goes down or not. So much suffering, persecution, hunger and people being displaced, not by the thousands, but sometimes millions.
