I used to say I was the most self-righteous person in the world because I was totally self-righteous about self-righteousness. Haven’t said that in awhile but unfortunately I think it still holds true for me.

2021 Spring break is here, and it came in with a roar. Last week I was amazed at all the blossoms on my apricot tree, and today I am looking at very few little white flowers left on my tree. Nature can be so cruel. On a brighter note, my fish tank/fountain has been full of cedar waxwings.

Hello, my San Saba dears, and I hope you had a great week since last we spoke. If you get your paper in the mail, then it arrives on Thursday which means you will be reading this on March 19th, and also mom’s birthday.

Letter to the Editor

What is Truth? There is a saying called “Thinking outside the box” which means that there may be a novel way of thinking about a subject. One such subject is the topic of Global Warming or Climate Change by which it's now referred.

Spring break is just around the corner. I feel as if we have already had spring break since we had that weather event last week. The term "weather event" hardly covers the disaster we faced for almost a week. It doesn't cover the damaged pipes and ruined walls and ceilings experienced in many homes.
