Last week I was visiting with my favorite (and only) nephew on Mother’s Day. BK had called to wish me Happy Mother’s Day, and I sent him a copy of the last Musing’s article. My sweet Brian is a staunch Republican, conservative, generous, funny, and much beloved by all our family.

The new equipment in the city park is almost completely installed. According to the post by Paige Moats, there was an installation glitch that will require some technical assistance from the manufacturer. The photos of the new play toys looked unique, and I’m sure the kids will love them.

What a delight it was to see so many friendly faces at the Alumni Banquet this past Saturday. There were over 100 people from classes ranging from 1946 to 2021. The menu was changed up this year due to the beef prices.

Spring is a wonderful time of the year for me. I love to see the flowers come back to life after a period of rest for the winter. The bluebonnets are always beautiful, and all the other flowers are as well. We have some lilies that bloom once a year in our yard.
