The Richland Springs Report

Sunday was an emotional roller coaster for our little community. The First Baptist Church said its final goodbyes to Gerald McKee. Both the church and the overflow downstairs were crowded with friends and students there to say their final farewells.

I’ve realized over the years that the period between the end of a year and the beginning of a new year is often a time of loss for families. I don’t know whether it’s the ending of a long hard year or the thought of facing another hard year that pushes an old person over the edge.
