Our compliments to the Cherokee football team -- the 1975 State 6-Man Champions. In case you hadn't heard one of the team members borrowed Coach Roddy Maddox's pickup to run an errand. We understand Roddy's pickup gets borrowed by the kids quite often for various errands. This one time was different, for a very special reason. The boys had all chipped in enough funds to buy him a Citizen's Band radio and the borrowing of the pickup was just a pretense to get it installed. "It's just great," said Roddy. "I sure do like it."
