The San Saba County Museum is gearing up for our 7th “A Night at the Museum” celebrating Texas Independence Day in Mill Pond Park from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 2nd.
There are three speakers lined up who will share San Saba County and Texas history throughout the evening. Here is a sneak peek at their titles: “What is a Sheep Dog Trial,” “Spinning Texas Cotton,” and ”The Lived Experience of a Nomadic Sheep Shearing Family.”
The Campfire chicken fried steak dinner prepared by Lee Murray and crew will begin at 5:30 p.m., and of course there will be Live Music and other fun activities including an Art Display presented by San Saba HS art students.
