Editor,

Last week San Saba’s Baylor Scott & White Clinic moved down the street to its new location near the courthouse square in town (from 2005 West Wallace to 200 East Wallace). We are enjoying the new clinic building as we learn the workflow at this site. We owe a huge “thank you” to Albert Stowell who has invested significant time, energy and money to customize his building, changing it from a legal office to a medical office. Final touches are still in progress, both inside and out, but it is a beautiful facility which should function for years to come as the Baylor Scott & White home in San Saba.

I would be remiss not to also offer thanks to the City of San Saba which has housed our clinic for the past decades in the old hospital building. One could not ask for a more accommodating, supportive and responsive landlord than the City has shown to be for us over the years. While the City could only do as much as the old building would allow in terms of appearance and structure, nonetheless the City workers have always responded with alacrity and with a cheerful attitude when we needed help with the building.
