Rotary March Student-of-the-Month was awarded to Caitlin Mays.Each month a different senior is awarded. Awards are based on leadership, character, teacher nominations, and a personal essay written by the student. They receive a certificate and are invited to a luncheon with the Rotarians.

Track season has officially commenced here at Cherokee ISD. Last week, both our junior high and high school track teams traveled to Brady for their meet. This week the junior high track meet will be in San Saba while the high school tracksters will travel to Johnson City. Good luck to our runners!

San Saba Youth Basketball celebrates a season of growth, teamwork, and gratitude

What an incredible season it has been for our San Saba Youth Basketball program! With 94 kids registered this year, our gym was filled with energy, excitement, learning, and growth from the very first practice to the final buzzer.This season was about so much more than wins and losses.

Our Cherokee Indians basketball team won the bi-district game over Cranfills Gap last week with a final score of 48-31. Uriah Valdez and Jaxon White had 19 and 17 points respectively.
