Dove Project hosted its Annual Golf Tournament on Saturday, April 27, 2024. The morning was windy, but the players didn’t seem to mind as they had loads of fun. We are already planning and looking forward to the next tournament.

San Saba High School Regional Academic meet results

Twenty-one San Saba High School students traveled to Corpus Christi on April 25-26 to compete in the Region 4 UIL academic meet. SSHS was 6th out of 49 schools competing and came home with several team championship plaques and many individual medals.

Do you remember elementary school recess?At our school, we ate lunch right before playtime. We'd line up single file to walk through the food line.The plate lunch often included gravy-laden mystery meat - beef or possibly bird - plus mashed potatoes and something green or yellow.

MOE 5/6 “Three-Peat” at “Above the Rim Classic”

After winning “Above The Rim Classic” tournament championships in 2022 and 2023, MOE (30-2) traveled to Georgetown, Texas, on Saturday, April 20, to take part in the 2024 version of the annual tournament.In the first round, MOE defeated a very talented Austin Lady Magic 111 team, 27-18.

Last week, the region four golf tournament was held in Corpus Christie, Texas. The San Saba HS boys team was the regional runner up and advanced to state for the 1st time as a team since 2001.Cinzlea Stanton advanced as a medalist for the second consecutive year!

San Saba High School art students have a busy schedule this April. Saturday, April 27th, is the state Visual Art Scholastic Event (VASE) in San Marcos. “Texas High School Visual Art Scholastic Event (VASE) celebrated its 25th Anniversary in 2019.
