Fall Sports Practice Returns in San Saba

We have officially made it to the month of August, and San Saba High School fall sports are back in session for the 2021 season. Following 7:30-10:30 a.m. football practice throughout the first week of August, there will be a Meet The Dillos event beginning at 5 p.m.

As summer comes to a close and the new school year is right around the corner, we’d like to take the time to recognize some of our 4-H members for the hard work they’ve put in! 4-H hosts several contests over the sum-mer including Record Book and Fashion Show.

Two incoming seniors for both San Saba High School and Richland Springs High School varsity football were recently named to a San Angelo Standard-Times Top-10 preseason watchlist at the running back position.

Campers and coaches gather for a group photo on Friday, July 16th, following the annual Armadillo Youth Football hosted by San Saba High School. The football camp was a great learning experience for incoming first through ninth graders over a three-day period at the San Saba football practice field.

MOE Basketball wraps up 2021 summer season

MOE Basketball (9-0) wrapped up their summer season with a clean sweep at the 2021 “Bring The Heat” tournament held on July 17th in Buda, Texas. MOE defeated the Wimberley Texans 62-20 and the San Marcos Mambas 32-15.
