Several members of the San Saba Golden Armadillo Band competed at the Region UIL Solo and Ensemble Contest this past weekend at the Westlake Performing Arts Center in Austin. Their performances earned them the coveted First Division Superior Rating advancing them to the State Contest in May.
Members of the Brass Quintet are Julia Smith, Everett Eidson, Karol Guerrero, One Nguyen, and Delaney Ellis.
Members of the Clarinet Choir are Virginia Diaz, Natalie Cuevas, Haley Price, Jenna Lambert, John Spence, Hannah Vines, Kaylee Eidson, and Haleigh Ware.
Saxophone Soloists are Jose Aguilera Valdez and John Spence.
All of the students performed beautifully. They will perform again at the State UIL Contest Memorial Weekend in late May in Pflugerville.
