On Friday night both our junior high and varsity teams traveled to Trent to take on the Gorillas. The junior high game started with some back and forth between the two teams, but once the Indians snatched the lead, they took off and did not let go! The game ended with a final score of 71-34. The varsity team fared even better with a halftime win of 76-0. Next week, district play begins as they Indians face the Richland Springs Coyotes. The junior high game will be in Richland Springs, while the varsity game will be at home.
Our Little Indians flag team traveled to Brady for a very wet game! Only 5 players were able to make it to the game, and they played with determination and no breaks! The score wasn’t in our favor, but they held their heads high and kept smiling through the rain and mud. This week’s flag football game will be in San Saba vs Brady at 1pm. This is the next to the last game of the season, and we would love if fans came over Saturday for a little cheering section.
