SS 3rd & 4th grade Lady Dillos are Basketball Champions

    The San Saba 3rd and 4th grade Lady Dillos competed in their league tournament this past Saturday, February 7, in Lago Vista. Two teams represented San Saba in this age division, San Saba- Purple and San Saba-White, coached by PJ Fuller, Danessa Morrison, and Juan Rivera. San Saba-Purple played in four games winning against Johnson City (19-2), and Lago Vista (1312), before being eliminated by Blanco in the Semi Finals in a nail biter by just 1 point.

    The San Saba-White team finished their tournament day undefeated against Johnson City (28-4), Blanco (27-6), San Saba Purple, and Blanco again(27-4) to take home 1st place and gold rings to commemorating their success. All girls played with heart, determination, and great sportsmanship and represented the city of San Saba with dignity and pride.
