On March 10th, the San Saba Junior Varsity Team played in the Llano JV Tennis Tournament. Teams playing in the tournament besides San Saba were Llano, Fredericksburg, Burnet, Comfort, and Faith Academy.

In Girls Singles, Evelyn Davila won the consolation medal and Anna Millican was a consolation semifinalist. In Girls Doubles, Karol Guerrero and Keely Pham won the consolation medal. Tanner Proffitt and Olivia Lusty were quarterfinalist. Jessica Nguyen and Esperanza Baez were consolation semifinalist.

The Varsity team was scheduled to play in the Copperas Cove Tournament on Friday, March 11, but it was canceled due to the weather. In next week’s paper, we will have the results of the tennis team playing in a tri-meet in Florence on Monday, March 14, and a dual match with Fredericksburg on Tuesday, March 15, in San Saba.
