This morning, Monday, August 14th, I woke up with the words to a song: 'The angel's sing Holy, Holy, Holy.' That is progress because I have woke up with tears since my faithful Labrador companion Ellie died July 31st. I have had support from family, friends and the condo community where I live here in Zanesville, Ohio.
Ohio had a special election on August 8th to vote on just one issue. The church I attend gave information about this with posters to 'Protect LIFE! Vote YES on Issue 1.' Sadly a large majority voted No.
There have been many expression about the weather conditions this summer: 'Hotter than a firecracker on the 4th of July; a red hot furnace; flaming hot; blistering and hotter than hell. The Holy Bible, Psalms 91:1-6... He who dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God; in Him will I trust. Surely He shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with His feathers, and under His wings shalt thou trust; His truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night, nor for the arrow that flieth by day, nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness, nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
