The San Saba J.V. Dillos rolled over the Goldthwaite J.V. Eagles by a score of 55-20 in Goldthwaite Thursday.
The Eagles kicked to San Saba. Luke Thorpe ran for 17; Graden Lebow ran for 12 and 3; Thorpe added 12. Jason Everett ran in for a touchdown, but it was called back for holding. Kalub Roberts ran for 5. Luke Thorpe scored from 10 out on fourth down. The P.A.T. failed. 6-0 Dillos.
San Saba kicked to Gold-thwaite. Defense by Danny English, Kalub Roberts, Jack Stewardson, Thorpe and Lebow slowed the Eagle run. Goldthwaite scored on a pass on fourth down. The second quarter found Goldthwaite kicking to San Saba. The drive was stopped by a fumble. Good defense by Everett, Roberts, and Lebow forced an Eagle pass intercepted by Brandon Gonzalez. Thorpe ran for 3, 10, Everett 15, before Thorpe broke for a 30-yard touchdown. Everett ran in the extra point try. 28-14 Dillos.
San Saba kicked to Goldthwaite. Defensively, Danny English had a big hit; Kalub Roberts sacked the quarterback. The Eagles were forced to punt. Thorpe ran for 20, Everett 7, before Thorpe raced 30 yards for another Dillo touchdown. Brandon Gonzalez kicked the extra point. 35-14 Dillos at the half.

The Eagle offense turned the ball over to San Saba. Everett ran for 2; Roberts caught a pass for 5; Thorpe gained a first down on a 27-yard run; Thorpe added 7, Everett 15; Thorpe ran in from 5 yards out. A penalty called it back. Thorpe then ran in from 15 yards. Gonzalez kicked the extra point. 42-14 Dillos.

San Saba kicked to Goldthwaite. The Dillo Defense held on good play by Adrian Perez, Preston Gray, Diego Gil Vega, Jayden Aguirre, Anthony Garcia, Rodolfo Valdez, Jonathan Garcia, Keagan Salinas, Ulices Mendoza, Rodrigo Macedo and Martin Macias stopped the Eagles.
The fourth quarter found San Saba with the ball. The Dillo offense stalled and Goldthwaite scored when San Saba muffed a punt snap in the end zone. The P.A.T. try was intercepted by Brandon Gonzales.
