By Sarah Locker | RSISD The Richland Springs Lady Coyotes opened district volleyball play with two wins last week, defeating Rochelle and Mullin to move to 2-0 in district competition.
Richland Springs faced the Rochelle Lady Hornets at home on Tuesday, September 22. The Lady Coyotes earned their first district win in four sets, then traveled to Mullin on Saturday, September 26, and defeated the Lady Bulldogs in three sets.
The Lady Coyotes will look to keep their momentum going with two more district matches this week. They travel to Zephyr to face the Lady Bulldogs on Tuesday, September 29, at 6 p.m., then head to Brookesmith to take on the Lady Mustangs on Saturday, October 3, at 10 a.m.
