Lady Dillos Dominating Their Way to 10-0

This Lady Dillos’ squad has very realistic 2A state championship title hopes as San Saba improved to a perfect 10-0 record this past week with two more doubledigit victories: 38-22 on December 8 at home over Brownwood High School and 45-34 on December 11 on the road against Eula High School.

Behind the likes of Lady Dillos senior Courtnee Cash, senior Brighton Adams, and junior Landri Glover, this San Saba team means business as they are now ranked No. 3 in Class 2A.

Through 10 games, the Lady Dillos have rolled over their opponents as they have outscored foes by a whopping 551-281 margin in non-district contests.

Up next, following the District 29 opener for the Lady Dillos on Tuesday night at rival Goldthwaite High School, San Saba will host district foe Johnson City High School at 6:15 p.m. on Friday, December 18, and have a non-district matchup on the road at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, December 21 at Salado High School.

Dillos Grind Out Victories En Route to 6-0

San Saba boys’ varsity basketball has looked impressive out of the gate as the Dillos picked up three more wins over higher class opponents the past week and now sit at 6-0.

The Dillos traveled on December 8 and took down 3A Llano High School by a score of 68-50, went on the road on December 11 to squeak out a clutch 48-47 win over 3A Comanche High School, and hosted Early High School on December 12 and held on for a 47-44 victory.

With the wins and still undefeated behind great play from the likes of Dillos senior Logan Glover and junior Reagan Mejia, San Saba now sits at No. 12 in the boys’ high school basketball rankings for 2A in the state of Texas.
