Three student-athletes from San Saba High School - Class of 2021 received incredibly high honors last week. Courtnee Cash, Logan Glover, and Risien Shahan were selected as first-team Academic All-Americans by the National High School Coaches Association.
The San Saba trio of very talented multi-sport athletes with Cash, Glover, and Shahan were just three of seven honorees from the state of Texas to make the first-team list of 100 students for the 2020-21 school year.
Cash, who will attend Cameron University on an athletic scholarship to play women’s college basketball, played high school basketball at San Saba for four years, cross country for four years, cheerleading for four years, track and field for four years, and softball for two years.
Glover, who will be playing football collegiately on an athletic scholarship at Angelo State University, played high school football at San Saba for four years, basketball for four years, track and field for four years, and baseball for four years.
Shahan, who was the Class of 2021 Valedictorian and will attend the University of Texas at Austin, played high school football at San Saba for four years, basketball for four years, baseball for four years, track and field for three years, and golf for two years.
