Because the “normal” breakfast celebration this year on Veteran’s Day could not happen, the PAL (Peer Assistance and Leadership) class sponsored by Mrs. Thomas wanted to do something special for our Veterans this year. They decided to collect funds and invite any Veteran to the Corner Cafe for a free taco and drink! The group collected $442.60 at the game Friday night, November 6th, and would like to thank everyone that donated to this cause. They would also like to thank Larry Hibler for helping make this happen. Pictured is Julisa Vega, a 2-year member of the PAL class.
