Willard Barry Lively of Chappel, Texas, passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2021, at the age of 70. Willard was born July 24, 1951, in San Saba, Texas, to W. E. “Dub” Lively and Laura Louise (Light) Lively. He was a 1969 graduate of Cherokee High School. He enjoyed playing football and being active on the team, a love he passed on to his son, Aaron. Known as Barry to everyone, he loved to be surrounded by friends, old and new. Barry obtained his M.S. Business Management from Tarleton University. He enjoyed ranching, listening to live music, and meeting new people.
He is survived by son Aaron Lively and wife Christel of Mason, Texas; his son Austin of San Saba, Texas; granddaughters: Leah, Whitley, Loren, Caitlin, Sadie, Pantera, and Leona; lone grandson Zayne Porch; his brother Almond Jerrod; nephews Justin and Dillion; and nieces Jennifer Lively Diaz and Natalie Lively.
Barry was preceded in death by his parents W. E. and Laura Louise Lively, and a brother Royce Elton Lively.
