Tommy G. Soto, Sr.

Tommy Soto age 74, of Richland Springs, Texas, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 6, 2020, at San Saba Nursing and Rehabilitation. Tommy was born on May 21, 1946 in San Saba, Texas, to Joe Soto and Janie (Gonzales). Tommy made his home in Richland Springs, Texas, where he worked for many years at the Peanut Mill and for the Richland Springs I.S.D. as a mechanic until his retirement. He married Beatrice Soto on July 1, 1967, in Floyd, Texas. They made their home in Richland Springs, Texas, for 53 years. Tommy was a member of Richland Springs First Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and most of all restoring classic cars.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 53 years, Beatrice Soto; children: one daughter, Tabby Soto of Brownwood, Texas; two sons: Troy Soto of Richland Springs, Texas, and Tony Soto and Amanda of Tierra Amarilla, New Mexico; four grandsons: Stephen Thornhill, Traven Day, Trevor Soto, and Hunter Soto; two granddaughters: Ashlynn Soto and Brooklynn Soto; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Janie Soto; one son, Tommy Soto Jr.,; and numerous brothers and sisters.

A Visitation was held on Thursday, October 8, 2020, at Blaylock Funeral Home from 4:00-6:00 p.m. A Graveside Service was held on Friday, September 8, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at Richland Springs Cemetery with Johnnie Reeves offciating. Interment followed at Richland Springs Cemetery.
