Ted Lucas

Ted Lucas, 64 went to be with his Lord on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at his home in San Saba, Texas. Ted was born November 1958, in Delano California on a gray hound bus on their way to Oceanside, California. Ted wore many titles: Dad, brother, grandfather, and neighbor. He was also known as Linoche, Baller from Abilene High School basketball team and Tedro the Builder. He worked most of his life as an independent contractor. He treasured remodeling and rebuilding with his brothers and his mother; he loved making people laugh and got a kick out of playing pranks on everyone.

Ted was preceded in death by his grandparents, Nick and Opal Jane Scott; sister, Tammy Ward; brothers: Darren Lucas, Shawn Wilson, Josh Wilson, Brett Lucas and Nick Ward.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his child, Dustin Lucas; grandaughter, Tenley Marie Lucas; daughter, Shanna Marie Lucas and fiancé Austin Seibert, his son, Greer; his parents, Anna Marie Wilson and Ralph Wilson; brother, Gregg Lucas; sister, Leigh Anna and Robert Moore, and their children Adrianna, Jack, and Ashleigh; Bretlye Lucas his niece; Mylee, Cynthia Wilson, Barbara Wilson, Patsy Gonzales, and numerous cousins. His legacy will carry on forever reminding us that we control our attitudes. We choose to live a life of meaningful acts of love and service, like Christ modeled for us. A celebration of Ted's life will take place the 18th of this month.
