Ross Land, Jr.

Ross Land Jr., 84, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 in Arlington.

Funeral Services were held on Monday, December 14th, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Interment followed at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas.

Ross was born on November 8, 1936 in Richland Springs, Texas to Ross Land Sr. and Edna Pearl Bloomer Land. An Arlington resident for the past 53 years, he worked as a manager for Vought Aircraft. Ross was a member of Mayfield Road Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Charles Land, Doyle Land, Odean Land and Jerry Land.

Ross is survived by wife, Gale Volentine Land; son, Bruce Land and wife, Carol; daughters, Quinnell Land and Paul, Marthann "Marty" Williams and husband, Bruce, Lisa Brown and husband, Darren; brother, Kenneth Land and wife, Kathy; grandchildren: Parker Brown, Pearl Harrison, Chloe Brown and Marshall Brown; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Wade Family Funeral Home, Arlington, Texas, was in charge of arrangements.
