Mary Ann Crim

Mary Ann Crim, 72, of San Saba, Texas, passed away on December 26, 2023, in Alvarado, Texas.

Family and friends gathered in celebration of Mary Ann’s life at Blaylock Funeral Home in San Saba, Texas. Visitation was Friday, December 29, 2023, at 1:00 p.m.; Funeral Service followed at 2:00 p.m. Bro. Jimmy Murdock officiated. Mary Ann’s final resting place will be High Valley Cemetery in Chappel Community.

Mary Ann was born on June 2, 1951, in San Saba, Texas, to Jack M. and Montie Luene Blossman. Mary Ann lived a full life of service to others. She spent her adult life caring for those in need as a nurse at San Saba Nursing Home and later, Eventide Nursing Home. Affectionately known as “Nana,” Mary Ann’s greatest source of pride was being a caring grandmother to her grandchildren and loving mother to her children.

Mary Ann is survived by daughter, Christie Heneghan; husband, Shaun; two sons: Stephen Crim and wife Misty, and Larry Crim; two brothers: David Blossman and wife Sharon, and Jack Blossman and wife Donna; grandchildren: Mitchel Sanderson and husband Michael, Dillon Murdock and wife Alex, Matthew Murdock, Patrick Heneghan, Bryan Crim, Brittany Crim, Kalista Roth, Kylie Roth, and Phyllip Roth; great-grandchildren: Gavin Armstrong, Philip A. Murdock, and Hazel Murdock; nieces and nephews: Damon Blossman and wife Amber, Brandy Theil and husband Chad, and Laura Weeks and husband Randy; and many great nieces and nephews.

Mary Ann is preceded in death by her parents. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made in Mary Ann’s name to Grandview Nursing Home (gvnr.org), a communityowned, non-profit, care facility in Grandview, Texas, where Mary Ann spent her final days being compassionately cared for by the entire team.
