Maridell Lambert Henry went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 24, 2021, at the age of 91.
She was born on November 24, 1929 in Richland Springs, Texas, to Lee Lambert and Beulah Warren Lambert. At the age of 15, Maridell married Johnnie Brown. They had three daughters: Jan Brazell, Tana Gray and Joylyn Tillotson. The family lived in Richland Springs, Monahans, and Farmington, New Mexico.
Maridell later married Royce Henry, and they had a daughter, Lisa LeAnn Holloway. They moved to Newark, California, where Maridell took up poker with the gals there and began pursuing her interest in oil painting. After retirement, Maridell and Royce traveled the world together and later moved to a lake house in Kingsland, Texas. There they enjoyed their golden years with friends, visiting family members and a rotating cast of beloved pets. Maridell also served as an active member and volunteer for the local art gallery, where many of her paintings were sold.
Maridell was preceded in death by her husband, Royce; her daughter, Joylyn; and her mother, Beulah, and her father, Lee. She is survived by daughters: Jan, Tana, and LeAnn; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at Putnam Funeral Home in Kingsland, Texas, at 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 1st. Graveside service will follow at the Richland Springs Cemetery.
Her vibrant spirit and zest for life will be missed by all, but heaven greets her with open arms.
