Maria Estela Chavarria

Maria Estela Chavarria age 46, of San Saba, Texas, passed away in Brownwood, Texas, on Wednesday, November 24, 2020. Maria was born in Brownwood, Texas, to the late Jose Luis Chavarria and Josie (Hernandez). Estela graduated from San Saba High School and was a longtime resident of San Saba. She was a caretaker for her family helping to raise all her nieces and nephews, while also serving her Lord and Savior. Estela made trips to Mexico where she spent time reading the Bible and teaching Christianity while also taking care of people who needed help. She considered this to be her calling, and she was good at it. Estela loved her family, and she loved caring for them. She also enjoyed baking, cooking, and studying the Bible.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her siblings - three sisters: Monica Hernandez, Marisol Chavarria, and Martha and husband Martin Ferrer; three brothers: Jose Luis Chavarria, Jr., Sergio Palacio and Joey Salinas; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents Jose Luis Chavarria and Josie.

A Graveside Service was held on Saturday, November 28, 2020, at 3:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery with Tom Brand officiating. Blaylock Funeral Home of San Saba, Texas in charge of arrangements.
