Lydia Flores

On the evening of Sunday October 6, 2024, Lydia 'Leah' Flores gained her angel wings but also gave the gift of life to another individual by being a organ donor. Lydia passed peacefully surrounded by her loved ones listening to her favorite songs. Lydia was 59 years old.

Lydia was born on March 23, 1965, in San Saba, Texas, to Bisente and Frances Viola Flores.

Though she grew up in Haskell Texas, she spent the majority of her life in North Richland Hills, Texas, and that is where she called home. Lydia worked as a front desk receptionist at Atria Senior Living Facility up until her passing. Lydia was loved by all, especially by her residents whom loved her dearly.

Nothing made Lydia happier than some sizzling fajitas and frozen margaritas anytime of the year. Lydia's favorite sports' team was the Dallas Cowboys. She loved watching any and all crime shows, morning and evening news, loved the color pink; and you never saw her with out her nails being done. Her favorite Disney movie was Monsters Inc. Though Lydia did not have any children of her own, she enjoyed being a bonus mom to all her nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and great nephews who loved her tremendously. Lydia was also a fur mom Meeko who she loved with all her heart. Lydia will remembered by all as sweet, kind, compassionate, loving, selfless, hardworking, always willing to help others any way she could and one who loved her family deeply.
