Joycelyn McBride, age 90, of Temple, Texas, formerly of San Saba, Texas, passed away August 17, 2021, in Temple, Texas. Joycelyn was born in San Saba, Texas, to Howard and Mable (Taylor) Wiley. Joycelyn worked at Harry’s Department Store for over 40 years in San Saba, Texas. She was always friendly and could keep books exceptionally well. Joycelyn was a member of The Church of the Open Door and attended faithfully. She loved her family and spending time with them after her retirement.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children: son Ricky and wife Glenda, Vickie Jarosek and husband Joe; two brothers, Joe Wiley and Bill Wiley; grandchildren: Crystal Fair and husband Cody, Justin Hail, Kyle Letbetter and wife Jana, Traci Powell, Ryan Jarosek and wife Jennifer, Matt Jarosek and wife Debbie, J.D. Jarosek and wife Valerie; great-grand-children: Coulter Fair, Kynlee and Kody Kay Hail, McKenzie Powell, Kyleigh Powell, Gage, Caton and Keagan Letbetter, Alexis Tippett, Jace and Jentry Jarosek, Ty and Jaxon Jarosek, Hailey Kelley and husband John, Colby, Katie Jarosek and Alexis Warthen; and one great-great-grandchild, Kash Kelley. She was preceded in death by her husband Raleigh (Junior) McBride, parents, and one sister, Peggy Fredrickson.
A Funeral Service was held on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel in San Saba, Texas, at 2:00 p.m. Interment followed at Terry Cemetery in San Saba, Texas. Blaylock Funeral Home of San Saba in charge of arrangements.
