Jerry Lee Riggs of San Saba, Texas, age 80, took her last breath on Earth and the first breath in Heaven on April 16th, 2025. Jerry passed peacefully with family surrounding her.
Jerry was born August 23, 1944, in Kansas City, Kansas, to Gerald and Johnita Freeze.
On October 31, 1994, Jackie Lee Riggs and Jerry Lee Freeze were united in marriage in El Paso, Texas.
Jerry is survived by brothers-in-law: Don Moore of Canton, North Carolina, and Ray and Don Riggs of San Saba, Texas; sistersin- law: Jeanie Smith of Bartlett, Tennessee, and Pam Riggs of San Saba, Texas; and nephews, Mathew Moore and Josh Moore of Canton, North Carolina. She also had many nieces and nephews on the Riggs side of the family.
Jerry is preceded in death by husband, Jackie Riggs; her mother, Johnita Freeze; and father, Gerald Freeze. Also preceding her in death sister, Georgia Moore, and brother, Scott Freeze.
Jerry held a very special love and close bond with her nephew, Michael Nelson and his wife, Kristen of San Saba, Texas, and also niece, Sabrina Nelson of Brownwood, Texas.
Jerry loved God and visiting with friends and family. She loved working in her yard and beautiful flowers. She especially loved her church family at Shiloh Bible Church.
She will be missed by many.
