Hubert Truman (Shorty) Crawford, of San Saba, Texas passed away on December 17, 2020 in Springdale, Arkansas. He was born in San Saba, Texas on December 7, 1930 to Hubert Cecil Crawford and Ola Marie Baxter.

He went to school in San Saba, Texas where he lived most of his life. Hubert dedicated his life to automotive mechanics. He was an outdoors man who loved fishing and going for walks in nature. Nature was Hubert’s happy place. Hubert also enjoyed his chewing tobacco.

Hubert was very proud to have three generations of grandchildren and loved his family dearly.

Hubert is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Ann Tabor; two daughters, Brenda Jean Jordan and Debra Ann Crawford; and two grandchildren, Melissa Ann Goodman and Brian Keith Vaughn.

He is survived by his two sons, Billy Crawford and wife, Tommie, of Springdale, Arkansas, and Richard Crawford and wife, Christie, of San Saba, Texas; one daughter, Sherry Vaughn and husband, Tillman, of Pearidge, Arkansas; one sister, Juanita Reigle and husband, Ed, of Lampasas, Texas; seven grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; ex-wife, Elizabeth Crawford; and stepchildren: Tammy Glass, James Hardwood and Billy Hardwood.

Visitation was held Monday, December 21st at Heritage Funeral Home in San Saba. Graveside services were held December 22nd at Wallace Creek Cemetery in San Saba, Texas, with Calvin Williams officiating.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Heritage Funeral Homes of San Saba, Texas.
