Guadalupe Cisneroz, 83, of San Saba, Texas, is a lifelong native of San Saba. He was born on December 12, 1936, to Epifanio and Josefina Cisneroz. He went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 13, 2020, while at Metroplex Hospital. Lupe married the love of his life, Sulema Mendiola, on May 14, 1961.

Together, they raised their family, instilling in them the strong work ethic that Lupe lived by. He owned his own shearing rig and provided employment for several others shearing sheep and harvesting pecans. Lupe lived a quiet life in his retirement years and enjoyed sitting in his recliner watching old westerns and getting visits from his grandchildren.

Lupe is preceded in death by his oldest son, Albert; parents; brothers: Valentin, Thomas, Daniel, Jose, and Gregorio; and sisters: Anna, Alicia, and Pauline.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sulema Cisneroz. He is lovingly remembered by his children and their spouses: Dr. Arnulfo and Carmen Cisneroz, David and Sandra Cisneroz, Ramiro and Maria Cisneroz, Jose Cisneroz, Isabel Cisneroz, and Yolanda Cisneroz. His memory lives on through his 17 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 17, 2020, at Heritage Funeral Home in San Saba.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 18, 2020, at Heritage Funeral Home in San Saba with Brother Tom Brand officiating. Burial will be at San Saba City Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Elisha Cisneroz, Erik Cisneroz, Kobe Cisneroz, Isaiah Cisneroz, Joshua Soto, Nickolas Cisneroz, Miles Romine, and Cody Lawson.

Honorary Pallbearer: Christopher Cisneroz.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Heritage Funeral Home of San Saba.
