Gloria Swanson Lusty, 93, of San Saba, Texas, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 25, 2020. Gloria was born June 29, 1927, to Edgar Neal Thornton and Victoria Howard in San Saba, Texas.
Gloria was a rancher's wife living on Deep Creek ranch for 57 years. She dedicated her time to her family and making sure all the hired hands were well taken care of. Gloria and her husband retired to San Saba.
Gloria Lusty was a wonderful mother and grandmother to three generations of grandchildren. Gloria loved her family dearly and dedicated her life raising her children. She was so proud of her family.
Gloria was a master quilter. She took great pride in her rose garden. Gloria had a love for hummingbirds; if you wanted to gift her something, bring her a hummingbird.
Gloria raised a great family. She was loved by all who had the pleasure of meeting her. With Gloria’s beautiful smile and great personality, she knew no strangers. Gloria had a beautiful heart and soul. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Gloria is survived by her children: James Darrell Lusty and

Pallbearers will be: Heath Lusty, Jason Lusty, Harlan Lusty, Brandon Lusty, Jeremy Wright and Chase Higginbotham.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 28, 2020, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in San Saba.
Funeral service will be Thursday, October 29, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel in San Saba, with Barry Fikes offciating. Interment will follow at Wallace Creek Cemetery in San Saba.
