Glenda Myrle (Till) Pearce age 82, of Midland, Texas, has joined her high school sweet heart and loving husband, Gary, and her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 12, 2021. She was born on November 7, 1938, in San Saba, Texas, to Sherman and Maggie (Leona) Till. Glenda grew up in Richland Springs, Texas, where she met and married her husband of 66 years. She and Gary moved to Midland by age 20 where she lived the rest of her life.

Glenda was the proud mother of three children and grounded them in the faith and admonition of the Lord Jesus Christ. She was a working mom for a good part of her life where she balanced work at the First National Bank of Midland, Trust Department while running her kids from one activity to another and never missing one of their games or events. She was a wonderful cook, and many of her recipes will surely live on as part of her legacy.

Although Glenda’s later years were plagued with the horrible disease of Alzheimer’s, her life was meaningful and significant to the very end. She always brought joy and laughter and a since of peace to those she loved and called friends. The family would like to thank all the friends, neighbors and the wonderful care givers that the Lord blessed our mother and father with to help us through the struggles of this dreadful disease.

Glenda is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Pearce Smith of Midland; son, Clellan Pearce and wife, Linda of Parker, Colorado; son, Kevin Pearce and wife, Cathy of Midland; sister, Wanda Till Roberds of Bowser, Texas; grandchildren: Quentin Pearce and wife, Jenny; Colby Pearce and wife, Christi; Whitney Pearce Mayes and husband, Marshall; Kyle Pearce and wife, Kenzie; Kristopher Pearce; Ricky Lee Smith and wife, Jennifer; and 15 great grandchildren.

Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, Sherman and Leona Till; husband, Gary Pearce; sister, Ola Till; brother, Wendell Till; and nephews, Keith Till and Rila Roberds.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be donated to a charity of your choice.
