Gerod Lively, age 56, passed away on September 20, 2022, in San Saba, Texas.
Gerod was born in San Saba, Texas, to W. E. Lively and Laura Light on December 28,1965.
Gerod married his high school sweetheart, Judy Harris of San Saba, Texas, on February 23, 1985, in San Saba, Texas. They have two sons. Justin and Dillon Lively.
Throughout his life and career, Gerod ran his own business as an owner and operator of an 18-wheeler truck. When he was not driving, he spent as much time as he could with his family.
Gerod was an avid football fan of the Dallas Cowboys, the Texas Longhorns, and the San Saba Dillos.
He was a wonderful husband and father who will greatly be missed. He is survived by his wife and two sons. He was preceded in death by his mother, Laura Light; his father, W. E. Lively; and his brothers, Royce Lively and Barry Lively.
A visitation was held on September 25, 2022, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Heritage Funeral Home in San Saba, Texas.
A service was held on September 26, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at the Heritage Funeral Home Chapel in San Saba Texas. Pall Bearers are Jason Means, Aaron Lively, Stanley Lively, Shane Lively, Montey Lively and James Stewart.
Interment will follow at the Chapel cemetery in San Saba Texas.
