Donna Caryol Bush

Donna Bush age 89, of Llano, Texas, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, December 4, 2020, at Llano Nursing and Rehabilitation. Donna was born on February 7, 1931, in Brady, Texas, to Earl and Agnes Underwood McDaniel. She was raised in a Godly home south of Field Creek. Through her life, she was an active member of the First Baptist Church. She graduated from Llano High School in 1948. Donna married her High School sweetheart, Dorman Dale Bush, class of 1947. Dorman left to serve his country in the United States Air Force and graduated from Southwest Texas State University; they lived and worked raising two sons in Anson, Texas, and Clarendon, Texas, working for the USDA. In 1968, they bought a hardware store in San Saba known as The Western Auto Store. She was a devoted spouse and mother.

Donna is survived by her two sons: Bruce and wife Judy of Llano, Texas; and Brent and wife Janice of Early, Texas; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one brother, Paul “Bud” McDaniel; and one sister, Myrna Faye McDaniel Najar.

A Private Family Graveside was held on Sunday, December 6, 2020, at Newsom Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to a local church or the Samaritans Purse. Blaylock Funeral Home of San Saba, Texas, in charge of arrangements.
